When I learned about the vision that Molly Evert, creator of My Audio School, had for a web site for homeschoolers and students of all ages to have audio books and radio broadcasts compiled in one place, I was anxious to use this resource. Since the conception of the site, we have been privy to a free membership given to us by our friend, Molly, and I cannot tell you enough how I am pleased and proud of her endeavor.
We often use audio listening as a part of our history and finding the right material online is another task that makes my planning take significantly longer. I am so happy to have been able to cut down my planning time, by using this wonderful site. Also, it has saved me money because there are books that were on my book list to buy to read and now we can listen to them instead. These books are in the public domain and Molly has carefully researched and compiled them all together.
Now that I have a subscription to My Audio School, it has become very easy for me to find the subject matter by chronological order or by using the search feature. Since My Audio School delivers informative, enjoyable, classic audio content on a large variety of school subjects, we are able to use it for more then just history.
The layout of the site is simple to navigate through and easy to understand for you or your child. Each of the over 150 full-length books is displayed in such a way that the child can download the book to Mp3, read it for free online, stream the book at the touch of a button, or listen to individual chapters according to a given day’s assignment. Also, each book is thoughtfully “illustrated” with beautiful fine art or appropriate photos. For 14.99/year for a family subscription, this resource is a must have.

Thanks for the reminder. I browsed and bookmarked my audio school a while back and then (can you believe it?!) I forgot about it. :(
Love to find new homeschool sites that are real people doing things I would do! I teach our children thru books so the audio book thing is just what we love! Oh please....

I have been to Molly's site before and am strongly considering a subscription to "My Audio School." It looks like it ties in well to Tapestry of Grace studies! :)
